Belleville Senators unveil logo
The Belleville Senators officially have a logo. According to an AHL press release, the singular ‘B’ was chosen to pay homage concurrently to the City of Belleville where the team will play its home games and the greater Bay of Quinte region where they will draw the majority of their from. The team will begin play this fall in southern Ontario after relocating from Binghamton, NY in the off-season.

Get in DAZN: the “Netflix of sports” launches in Canada
A new sports streaming service has launched in Canada. DAZN will be the exclusive Canadian home of NFL Game Pass, offering all NFL games for $20 per month (or $150 per year), with no blackouts, even if games are offered on TV. Inking Carey Price to the richest goalie contract ever this off-season is coming at a price for Montreal Canadiens’ season ticket holders. Citing security, ease of use, and environmental sustainability as reasons, the team will charge season ticket holders $150 plus tax per seat, per season for physical tickets beginning this fall.

TIMBER MART and CFL join forces
TIMBER MART is now the CFL’s official home improvement partner. According the CFL, the three-year partnership will yield national exposure both online and in-stadium for TIMBER MART members across multiple sports media outlets and CFL broadcast at post-season games, including the Grey Cup championship game.
